HELLO :)
I am YIYUAN, you can call me Coy as well. I’m a multidisciplinary designer with a focus on motion graphics, 3D animation, and visual storytelling. My work blends design, compositing, and digital painting to create rich, expressive visuals across commercial and entertainment projects.
I hold an MFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts, New York, where I specialized in Computer art and focus on motion design, and a BFA in Animation (3D Generalist) from Ball State University in Indiana. Over the past several years, I’ve worked on a wide range of creative projects spanning branding, experiential content, and pitch design — often serving as the sole visual designer for high-impact presentation decks that helped win major clients.
I was born into a literary family in southern China. My given name, “Yiyuan (艺源),” means the origin of art — a beautiful blessing from my family that continues to guide my creative journey.
Thanks for taking the time to explore my work — it’s a joy to share a piece of my creative world with you.
